IT’S NATIONAL TEEN DATING ABUSE AWARENESS AND PREVENTION WEEK!
Did you know that Abuse in a relationship can include emotional, verbal, sexual, and/or physical abuse? (All statistics were collected from Family Crisis Services)

Any students or faculty members interested in participating in the South Portland Democratic caucus are invited to a meeting in room 233 at 2:00 on Tuesday, February 5. The caucus will be held in the SPHS gym this Sunday, February 10, at 1:00 PM. See Mr. Major, Mr. Jandreau, Mr. Small Jr. or Nick Wright for more information

The Legion of the Flaming Rose™ is pleased to announce the Fist Annual South Portland High School Student Film Festival. Enter and prove that you are the mightiest wielder of celluloid glory, whose art is rivaled in beauty only by the mournful cry of the wolf at night! Pick up rules and entry forms in the Video Production room. The deadline for submission is March 21st. The finalists will be chosen and screened in the auditorium on April 4th. For more information, see Mrs. York, Sean Esten, or George Murray.

Polar Dip Update: One day down, three to go! There hasn't been a lot of activity with the collection jars, but so far Ms. Major is in the lead! If you'd rather see Mr. Matoian, Mr. Lane, Mr. Inosencio, or Mr. Clifford take the plunge, you've got to stuff those jars with money! Stop by the main office, drop some change in a jar, and help support Heifer International. Thanks!

This is a reminder to seniors. Please remember to sign in and out for your senior privilege at the attendance office.
