TOP SCHOLARS OF THE CLASS OF 2008 ARE ASKED TO SEE MRS. CROCKER AT THE END OF THE DAY TO SELECT THE PERSON TO BE INTRODUCED AT THE APRIL 14TH SCHOOL BOARD MEETING.

JUNIORS MAY PASS IN JUNIOR PRIVILEGE PERMISSION FORMS TO THE MAIN OFFICE OR THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE ANYTIME UP UNTIL MAY 3.

HOWEVER IF YOU ARE BRINGING A GUEST FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL - YOU MUST HAVE THE GUEST FILL OUT A FORM THAT REQUIRES A PARENT SIGNATURE AND THE SENDING SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR'S SIGNATURE. YOU MAY PICK UP THIS FORM STARTING TODAY IN ROOM 128. THIS WILL GIVE YOU A FEW DAYS EXTRA TO GET THE FORM COMPLETED. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS FORM IS REQUIRED.
THIS IS A SEMIFORMAL DANCE WHICH MEANS NO JEANS OR SNEAKERS, GUYS MUST WEAR A DRESS SHIRT AND A TIE AND GIRLS SHOULD DRESS IN SEMI-FORMAL WEAR.

GUIDANCE

Mercy Hospital's Summer Junior Volunteer Program is now accepting applications. Information and applications are available in the Guidance Office.

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: Please return your permission slip to attend the college visits field trip as soon as possible. Permission slips should be brought to the Guidance Office.

Students interested in applying for Rippleffect's Youth Leadership Summit should submit their applications as soon as possible.

The Maine School of Math and Science will be in the Guidance Office on Monday, April 7th from 11:00 - 12:00. Passes are available in Guidance.

UPCOMING OPEN HOUSES
Southern Maine Community College will host their Open House on Saturday, April 5, 2008
12 ~ 3:30 p.m.

ATHLETICS

Boys Lacrosse will be playing in a round robin tournament at Fitzpatrick Stadium on Saturday morning.

Varsity Baseball will be traveling to Merrimac College for scrimmage games vs. Central Catholic and Methuen High Schools on Saturday at 12:30 and 3:00.

Softball will be playing at scrimmage vs. Brewer at the Topsham Indoor Arena on Saturday at 4:00.

The following students have been selected to participate in the Student Athlete Summit at Cheverus High School on April 15th. Please report to the Athletic Office today:

MUSIC NOTES
All Chamber Singers are reminded to meet the bus at 5 PM sharp on Friday to attend the Masterworks Festival held at Gorham High School.

Tri-M will meet briefly Friday.

Clubs and Intramurals

Due to the flood of Entries we’ve received, the South Portland High School Student Film Festival is up and running. Come to the auditorium this Friday at 6:30 pm to see the finest cinematic masterpieces South Portland has to offer. All genres will be represented and all styles will be explained. Long live the new flesh!
