The annual library book swap is the week of March 31st. Donate your good used books to the library for the book swap cart, and take books that you want from the cart starting March 31st.
Accounting students needing to make up a chapter test should do so in the learning lab today during one of their workshops or after school.
GUIDANCE
If you are a senior who is having difficulty getting through the financial aid process, there will be a financial aid professional in the Guidance Office on Friday, April 4th from 7:30- 9:00. See Guidance to get an appointment.
Attention seniors: if you still are undecided about your plans after graduation, the Guidance Department has arranged an excellent opportunity for you. We will be taking undecided seniors to SMCC on April 3rd for an On the Spot Admissions Day. You will receive a great deal of assistance in applying as well as help on how to pay for your education at SMCC. The application fee will be waived and lunch will be served to those students that choose to attend the On the Spot Application day scheduled for Thursday, April 4th. See your guidance counselor for more details right away.
Mercy Hospital's Summer Junior Volunteer Program is now accepting applications. Information and applications are available in the Guidance Office.
ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: Please return your permission slip to attend the college visits field trip as soon as possible. Permission slips should be brought to the Guidance Office.

Clubs and Intramurals
All NHS members are reminded that the induction ceremony is at 6:00 this Wednesday in the auditorium. Present members are asked to arrive no later than 5:30 and new inductees no later than 5:45. There are still a number of inductees who have no one to induct them yet. All NHS members are asked attend the induction ceremony and to look over the new inductees list in room 230.
The Environmental Club will meet Thursday after school in Rm. 23. We will then go to the green house to start our seedlings. New members are welcome!
The Chinese Club will meet TODAY, April 1st, at 2:00 in room 111.
The French Club will TODAY, April 2, at 2:00 in room 111.
Drama Club CD’s are in. Students who ordered one, please see Ms. J in room 104.
Key Club Food Drive - All this week, Key Club will be collecting canned goods to contribute to the world-wide Kiwanis event, One Day, to be held this Saturday, April 5th. We need your help! Collection boxes will be located in the main office. Key Club members will receive 1/4 hour of service time for every 5 items of food donated. Real Life students: Check with you teacher to see if you can earn service time as well! We appreciate your support!
Due to the flood of Entries we’ve received, the South Portland High School Student Film Festival is up and running. Come to the auditorium this Friday at 6:30 pm to see the finest cinematic masterpieces South Portland has to offer. All genres will be represented and all styles will be explained. Long live the new flesh!
