Today is a White B Day
Detention is in Room 216
3d year students who took the augmentation and the SAT on Saturday and who have turned in a signed, parental permission form may use junior privilege in place of a workshop only. Please sign in and out in the attendance office.
You must park only in student parking lots, not on the street or at the community center. You must enter and exit the building quickly and promptly. If you remain in the building you must attend your workshop or be in guidance, the learning lab, the library or working with a teacher.
SENIORS: DON’T FORGET TO SIGN THE PROJECT GRADUATION T SHIRT IN THE MAIN OFFICE!
GUIDANCE
Attention juniors: The deadline to register for the June 7th SAT I /SAT II's is May 6th.
The deadline to register for the June 14th ACT is May 9th.
Registration materials are available on line or in the Guidance Office.
NEW SCHOLARSHIP
The Peter H. Debevoise Memorial Scholarship is now available in the Scholarship Box. The deadline for submission is May 12th with interviews to be scheduled at a later date for finalists.
Attention juniors:
If you have an interest in attending college in England, the following program will be of assistance. May 22 at Scarborough High School from 6:30-8:00 p.m. representatives from colleges in the U.K.For more information, see Mrs. Sturm in Guidance.
ATHLETICS
Girls Lacrosse will play at home versus Deering High School today on the high school field. The varsity game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 with the JV's to follow.
Boys Varsity and JV Lacrosse will play at Deering High School this afternoon. The JV's will play first at 3:30 with the varsity scheduled to begin at 5:15 PM.
Girls Track will compete in a meet with Gorham, Kennebunk and Thornton at Gorham High School beginning at 3:45 PM.
Varsity and JV Softball will host the McAuley Lions at the Wainwright Field Complex today. Both games will begin at 4:00 PM.
Boys Tennis will play a match at Marshwood High School at 3:30 today.
Girls Tennis will host the Marshwood Hawks in a 3:30 match on the high school courts.
CLUBS AND INTRAMURALS
There will be an important Spanish Club meeting right after school on Tuesday (YES, Tuesday!) to discuss our Relay for Life team quesadilla fundraiser on Wednesday after school. All members should attend, not just those on the Relay for Life team.
Eat yummy food and help the Cancer Society! The Spanish Club will be selling cheese quesadillas on Wednesday beginning at 10:45 in the lower breezeway. Come and get some!
HEMA club will meet today in the breezeway at 2:00.
The Environmental Club will meet tomorrow after school in Rm. 23. Please try and attend, as two representatives from the school department will be joining us to talk about growing herbs and spices for our district's school lunch program.
The Riot Reader folding party will be on Wednesday May 7th after school. Stop by 108 for pizza and folding fun!
Attention NHS members. You have one more day to turn in your raffle tickets and money. We have raised close to $300.00 and a few more dollars would put us over that mark. Many thanks to those of you who have already sold your tickets.
