IT’S TIME FOR THE PROJECT GRAD
Project Graduation Class of 2017 Fashion Show
It is the time of year again- The Project Graduation Fashion Show! Seniors can pick up participation forms in the main office or in room 303 from Ms. Major. Completed forms need to be in the main office by Friday, February 10th. The show will be on Sunday, March 26th.
EARLY COLLEGE FOR ME CANDIDATES

The US Marines will be in the Guidance Office to meet with interested students on Thursday, February 16 at 10:30AM. Please sign-up in advance.
Camp Ketcha is hiring summer camp counselors, program staff and lifeguards for their Summer Day Camp in Scarborough. Paid internships are also available. More information is available at http://campketcha.org/employment/.

HIGH SCHOOL POSTER CONTEST

This Friday is the final day for students to order a 2017 yearbook. A copy of the blank order form has been mailed home to your parents a few days ago and is also available on the counter in the main office. Order forms with payment should be dropped off in the main office before 2:30 PM on February 10. Questions relating to yearbook orders should be directed to Mrs. Gay.

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholar/Essay
Deadline is Wednesday, March 1st. Applications are available in the athletic office. One female and one male winner from Maine will receive a $250 scholarship from the Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. State winners are then eligible for a $1500 section scholarship with a chance for a $2500 national scholarship. Completed applications should be returned to Mr. Livingston for submittal to the MIAAA. For more information please see Ms. Smith or Mr. Livingston in the athletic office.
Criteria for eligibility:
- Applicant must be a senior
- Applicant must have achieved at least two (2) of the following:
(A) minimum of B+ average;
(B) Ranked in the top 25% of class
(C) ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1100 (Math and Reading)
- Applicant must have participated in two sports for at least two years in each sport
- Applicant must have earned at least one varsity letter in each of two sports
- Applicant must complete attached scholar/essay application
- Applicant must have a letter of recommendation from the high school athletic administrator/director
- School athletic director must be an NIAAA member and a member of their respective state athletic
- The principal or athletic director must sign the application to insure that the academic information
submitted is accurate
- All hard copy materials must be postmarked or electronic materials sent to the NIAAA State Liaison in
your respective state by your states deadline. (March 1st)
