The STEAM Studio is a space for all to use. Here are usage guidelines:
To use the room you must be trained by Mrs. York. This training will include a room introduction, equipment notes, and safety guidelines. Without training: no teacher may use the space with their classroom.
Students should not ever be in the room alone. There must be teacher oversight whenever a student uses the space. If there is a need for solo student work, permission slips must be acquired.
Equipment should stay in the room. If you are taking out equipment that can be taken out (like the Silhouettes) you must sign it out. Your sign out must be accurate with what you have taken and when you plan to return it.
If you use materials: please make a plan to replace them. I.e. button maker supplies must be replenished in some way. You must supply your own wood and acrylic for the GlowForge. Etc.
