Why I made this...
Having a trustable source is more important now than it ever has been before. I wanted people to have an accurate way to make sure that the sources that they use can be evaluated easily.
What I learned while making it...
What I learned is how to code and program a website. I also learned how to implement a rating system with weighted values. I selected questions that I felt were important based on research. I researched what makes a website trustworthy and valid.
How to use it...
This app is very simple and quick to use. Go to the Val-I-Rate page. Then, just take a 9 question multiple choice quiz. Then answer the questions based on the site that you are using. Once you finish the quiz it will give you a score based on how much you should trust it.

I used Brakets and MIT App Inventor.
How this helps...
This is meant to help by giving people valid insight on the website they are using as a source. Today, anyone can create a website but it does not mean that the information is valid. With so much information on the internet it is very simple to get lost in what is actual facts and what's not.
